Consumer Price Index Developments in Karimun Regency, January 2025

Year-on-year inflation occurred due to price increases, as indicated by the rise in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 6.24 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.18 percent; the health group by 1.21 percent; the transportation group by 1.80 percent; the food and beverage serving/restaurants group by 5.29 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 3.16 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure groups that experienced a decline in indices include: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 17.72 percent; the household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance group by 1.30 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.12 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.04 percent; and the education group by 7.10 percent.
